I started using Clinique's acne regiment, but it's drying my skin out to much, should I cut back?

I don't use the clarifying toner everyday, but my skin still feels dry and itchy. I wonder though If I cut back will my acne not get treated as well.I started using Clinique's acne regiment, but it's drying my skin out to much, should I cut back?
you should cut back cause once thats what happened to my cuz and she face just got worse and worse. trust me you dont want your face looking like my cuz did.
