The bad chemical burn, took me 2 weeks to recover with prescripted medicine from the doctor and lots of aloe vera. My skin is never the same afterwards because it go so disrupted. It now looks rougher and more wrinkly. I took it bad to the clinique counter and the girls there made it sound like it's my fault. Did anyone else experience this and know a solution to correcting what has been damaged?Clinique Acne Solution 3 step gave me a very bad chemical burn, roughed up my skin. how to correct damage?
Clinique Acne Solution3, contains salicylic acid, which will help with extremely oily skin, but burn sensitive skin. I used to work for one of the major cosmetic companies and when a customer had an adverse reaction to one of our products, we were told to contact our account executive who in turn had the customer's medical bills taken care of. I would ask your dermatologist what product to use, but you will need to moisturize a lot. Most dermatologists recommend Cetaphil, which you can get at any drug store. You should also contact the department store, and the department manager who in turn should contact the account executive. The beauty adviser should have done the skin questionnaire with you before she sold you that product and it is partially her fault you had a problem.Clinique Acne Solution 3 step gave me a very bad chemical burn, roughed up my skin. how to correct damage?
I used this acne cream alst night
when I woke up my skin looked and felt like after severe sunburn
it hurts even to smile
the surface of the skin is all rough and feels sore and red and like after sunburn
i try to heal itt with clinique moisture surge.. still hurts Report Abuse
Are you sure it's a chemical burn and not just a bad reaction/sensitive skin ??
I used acne creams before and they all made my skin go bad (dry and peel and stuff) for about 2 weeks until my skin supposedly 'got used to it'. That's what they say anyway, if it includes benzoyl peroxide (dont know the correct spelling)
I had a bad reaction to 1 cream and it cleared up after a while. Probably about a month.
If it genuinely burned your skin you should have kept the product, got it tested to see the strength of the chemicals and ought to be suing them right now.
Just get a good moisturizer , ask your doctor actually, they can give you good /correct stuff. It's worth paying as you want to give it the best shot at healing
