Can i return foundation that I bought online from Clinique?

I want to buy some foundation but I'm not completely sure if its going to be my color so would I be able to return if it is ultimately not my color?

I love buying things online, and know what your going through...the dreaded ';will it fit/match/etc.';.


Clinique is a pretty good company, and as such will most likely have a good customer service policy. You should call the number on their website, and ask about this.


Tell them you really like the product details, but that you are afraid to spend that kind of money on something that might be going straight in the bin after the first try.


Ask if, as long as you use a very small amount (like using once or twice to be sure it is not your color), they will allow an exchange for a lighter or darker color. They might offer to send you a few samples, so you can find the right color.





Your best bet is to actually go to the Clinique counter at a department store and ask a representative to put some on your face, and see what color is best. They will most likely know. Then when you leave and see it w/out their fluorescent lights you can tell if it really matches or not. You can ask them about their return policy for mismatched cosmetics as well. Then you will really know what color is ';yours';, and you will feel better about buying it online.





Some stores like Rite-Aid/Eckerd have a cool return policy (but be sure to ask before you buy) so you can just bring it back if you don't like what you bought, and can skip the return shipping cost, if one of those stores are near you. They are such big companies they don't give a **** if they bite the bullet on a few jars of foundation if it means a customer will continue to shop and spend money there in the long-run.

anywaysss, no they dont do returns :( just go to sears and find your color.
