Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?

I'm 16 and want a decent cleansing routine, i've heard clinique is good but bad for younger people, is this true?Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?
I've been using Clinique since I was 15. It's not about your age; just make sure it is what your skin needs. Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?
The problem with the clinique three step routine is that neither the routine nor the products in the routine have changed much since they were introduced nearly 30 years ago. Skin care science has made giant leaps and bounds in understanding how healthy skin functions and what works and doesn't work when maintaining healthy skin. The old three step program includes a drying tallow based bar soap, an irritating astringent/toner and a moisturizer that doesn't contain any modern antioxidants, cell communicating ingredients, or skin identicals, or a sunscreen. The good news is that clinique's newer products -including cleansers for younger skin and modern serums and moisturizers -are excellent, just leave the old three step program at the counter.

By the way, there are lots of excellent cleansers and moisturizers at the drug store. Price doesn't always reflect quality in cosmetics and skin care. In consumer tests Olay and Neutrogena often beat out department store lines that cost ten times as much.

At the best of times skin care is confusing. You might want to do a web search for consumer reviews of different cosmetic and skin products. Yahoo has the Shine lifestyle website which has lots of honest reviews on almost everything that's out there. It's worth checking out for the beauty reviews: http://shine.yahoo.com/
I have never heard of Clinique being bad just very expensive. You can buy just as good skin cleansers from your drug store where your not paying for the name.
