Do any of the Clinique products work very well?
Make up/Skin care wise, like the toner (or ';clarifying lotion';) or the acne stuff?Do any of the Clinique products work very well?
the skin cleanser is quite good and has no petroleum products or lye in it, so I tolerate it well.
But for the best skin care I find the Australian Bush Flower Essences Face Hand and Body cream to do a fantastic job.Do any of the Clinique products work very well?
I went to Dillards the other day and the lady said the cleanser just cleans the top layer of you dead skin, the toner cleans deep into your pores and the lotion just moisturizes. Hope i helped!

Who has used the clinique 3 step for acne and had success?
I've had AWESOME results from these products! I was wondering, since I have like no acne now if I should switch to the regular 3 step because it has acne fighting properties in it too.
Thanks :]Who has used the clinique 3 step for acne and had success?

Do you have to make an appointment to get a clinique makeover?
I'm considering getting one tomorrow. Does it cost anything? All I want is them to show me how to apply my makeup without looking like a barbie doll, I want to look natural! (I'm 13, 8th grade)Do you have to make an appointment to get a clinique makeover?
It really depends on your area, and whether they are busy or not. Since its not prom season and wedding season is pretty much over, I'm thinking if you just go in you'll be fine, but you may want to call ahead of time. And no it usually doesn't cost anything, but still always check, better safe then sorry.
If your up for other options, Macy's benefit counter does an amazing job, I've had a make over done there once, it was very light and natural, and it is completely free for sure and no appt. needed!Do you have to make an appointment to get a clinique makeover?
Glad I could help, happy to hear it went well! Report Abuse
as long as there arent any major events going on in your area you can probably just go in, especially since its kind slow around there due to the economy and all. I have done it(in oregon) and you just ask them to show you how to do your makeup, and what looks good on you. They like it if you buy something or you can tip them but theres no obligation, you can just walk out if you want to.
near my area, you have to have bought something and then you get a complimentary makeover..which can be done really quick or erally slow depending on how many people are working behind teh counter and how many customers there are :]

Do you like Clinique pure blends powder? How do you personally use it, alone or over foundation?
Is it worth the price?Do you like Clinique pure blends powder? How do you personally use it, alone or over foundation?
Clinique pure blends powder made coming back to school totally tanless a little better (at least it looked like I hadn't worked indoors all summer)! You simply brush it onto your cheeks, forehead and nose to add a summerly glow. You can also use it as a discreete eyeshadow when you don't wanna look to ';dolled-up';, or as a base underneath other shadows to make them stick better. I recommend it!Do you like Clinique pure blends powder? How do you personally use it, alone or over foundation?
i'd only wear it over a foundation because it doesn't give enough coverage just by itself. i think its worth the price because clinique is like the cheapest department store beauty brand

Do Clinique comestic products work well?
I have used them for a while but, I have not used them long enough to know that it will not make me break out. Does it look cakey or un-natural or, the other way around? I would also like you to recommend cosmetic products for Clinique that work swell if it works for you. Any kind of cosmetic form would be fine.Do Clinique comestic products work well?

superfit foundation is my favorite liquid foundation. The best ive ever used...its the perfect shade for me and never broke me out.I dont wear liquid foundation much but when I do its always superfit.
Im also using their self sun tanner products...so far no problems with breakouts and it looks natural.
The makeup at clinique is not anything super special imo. There are no products that I just have to have...just okay lipglosses,bronzers/blushes,and eyeshadows. Not anything bad just regular.postage rate

Is Clinique pressed powder colours vanilla and porcelain similiar?
I heard they are both pale, whats the difference?
Clinique pressed powder for dry skin.Is Clinique pressed powder colours vanilla and porcelain similiar?
I would just go get color tested at a Clinique counter. They do sound both like they would be light colors. I wear Clinique but have never worn those shades.

Does clinique redness reducer really work?
my face has a bit of rosatea and i read about this prodect.i was wondering if it really worked?i would like to know before i spend my money on it.any advice?Does clinique redness reducer really work?
I have tried this product recently. I bought the package deal which came with: Soothing Cleanser, Daily Relief Cream, and Daily Protective Base for $45 which was a good deal since the cream alone costs $38 (at a Macy's Clinique counter). I only tried the cream but it really didn't do much for me. It seemed to help the very minor redness on my face but on the really red spots the cream actually made it a little redder! Luckily the Macy's counter gave me a refund. I have read reviews that it has worked for some people though so my advice would be to buy it and test it out for yourself and if it doesn't work at least you can get your money back! Good luck!

If its not natural dont use it. Try to find organic and 100% Natural make up.... Besides all them chemicals used to make that stuff and then putting it on your face, aftertime will show some kind of damaging effects.
I wouldnt say it was good because of such a strong perfume... But then again, I am always suprised with products. I can say that Fruitis has good products for the face and Olay.
Clinique is a well known tested brand for face %26amp; other parts.. local brands which are not lab-tested are not good for skin. ..see the lab tested seals on the products before using them...or use them on the back of you hand before applyinf to the face directly...
My stepmother has been using Clinique products for 20 years. Her skin looks great.
Clinique is the only makeup that doesn't break my sister's face out and she has very sensitive skin. I use Clinique also and I'm very satisfied with it. I don't think it's bad for your face at all....I'm 36 and people always guess that I'm younger.
Hi there,
I have used Clinique products on the face. I started using them initially because they are not tested on animals. And I was happy with them as I didnt have any odd reaction to any of the products.
I continue to use Clinique (cosmetics like lipstick, liner, powder etc.) products even now, but for a good skin regimen (cleansers, moisturizers etc.) I have moved to Clarins. I have noticed pretty good improvement in my skin.
It is best if you try out some samples of any brand before you buy. Overall Clinique is a good trustable brand, but your skin is unique and you will have to test anyway.
Wash with a deep-cleaning cleanser morning and night, then moisturize. Try Clean %26amp; Clear Deep Action Cream Clenser for Sensitive Skin (use non-foaming cleansers)
in AM moisturize with Olay Complete Multi-Radiance Daily Illuminating UV Lotion.
in PM moisturize with Biore Shine Control Moisturizer.
Using toner after washing can help too. Just use a gentle one. Not alcohol rich. (Clinique toners have a rating of harshness 1-5 so it's easy to choose.)
its very much effective!!! try it now....if you have pimples then clinique is the answer...
I used Clinique and from my experince I broke out .My skin became very dry,and scaley. Its not a good product.
Clinique's products are made to work with your skin type. Depending on your skin type (they can help you determine) there are several different products to match yours.
I would reccommend Clinique because I've been using it for about 3 years now. Their products are dermotologist-developed and fragrance free.
I had mild acne before I started using their 3 Step Skin Care System, it only took a couple of weeks to start seeing results! And my face has been acne free since then.
Go to one of their counters at a department store and get them to go over some of the products you'd be interested in.

U shld try Origins...most of their ingredients are derived from plants...using the special properties of plants. They have products for sensitive skin, and even those not labelled for sensitive ppl are rather mild on the skin as well.postage rate

Bon*Ton, that's where I usually go. It's where they sell all the makeup and perfumes, and they usually have a makeup girl to help you pick out the right shades or to put it on you to see if you like it.
You can check out the products online first so you know what you'd be interested in buying at sephora.com or Bonton's website: http://www.bonton.com/category/beauty+%2鈥?/a>

What is a good brand that is similar to Clinique but less expensive?
What is good about it?
How much do their products cost? What is a good brand that is similar to Clinique but less expensive?
I would say there isn't one. If you don't want to pay for Clinique, suck up the cost of their face products (worth it). Buy Clinique foundation, concealer and powder/blush. Also thier cream eyeshadows are worth it---completely creaseless! Then, buy Maybeline New York mascara to cut cost, they are mostly really good about being clump free and smudge proof. Plus you can buy it anywhere (Target CVS Shaws etc .) and they cost about $5-8 a piece. Get GreatLash for an everyday mascara. For lips...I feel like all lips products are pretty similar....buy by sale. Also, buy Clinique during Bonus Time and you'll get a bag loaded with free full sized stuff! What is a good brand that is similar to Clinique but less expensive?
Just go on Ebay, u can get their stuff for super cheap.
I love Clinique!!!

What are the ingredients?
Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:
* Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity.
* PARABENS – Such as methyl- propyl- butyl- %26amp; ethyl- parabens: Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
* Phenol carbolic acid – Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
* Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.
* Acrylamide – Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) – Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!
* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
* WAXES – Such as Paraffin, Candelilla Wax, Carnuba Wax: Waxes are widely used in cleansing creams, eye creams, and moisturizers. Waxes clog pores, creating blackheads and whiteheads. They also smother the skin, which over time creates an enlarged pore problem.
* Lanolin – A yellow, semi-solid, fatty secretion from sheep’s wool is widely used in skin and beauty care products. It can cause an allergic reaction in some people, as well as enlarged pores.
* Acetone – Used in nail polish and nail polish removers, this colorless, volatile liquid is often used in astringents, fresheners, or clarifying lotions. It is extremely toxic and will dehydrate the skin, while speeding up the aging process.
* ALCOHOLS – Such as Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40, Ethyl Alcohol: Alcohols dissolve the body’s natural moisturizers and strip the skin of its protection, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Alcohols destroy skin’s pH balance, and since they absorb water, they speed up wrinkling.
* FD%26amp;C – When this abbreviation precedes the name of a color, it means that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has certified it as safe for use in drugs and cosmetics, but not food. D%26amp;C colors are usually synthetic, coal tar colors. They’re toxic and should be avoided when at all possible.
* Dioxane – Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.
IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!! (Extra-virgin olive and/or coconut oils are great alternative moisturizers, and they contain natural sunscreens, until you find something else without these toxins) Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!!!
In general, my skin is pretty clear. I use clinique toner and moisturizer. I'm not a big fan of their face soap because it feels like I'm not actually using anything. I only use their toner because my mom got it for me for christmas but their moisturizer is AMAZING.
I recommend using an oil free face wash. Neutrogena is good. And any brand toner, I wouldn't waste your money on expensive clinique toner. But its definitely worth the money to get the dramatically different moisturizer.
Of course your best bet is always to see a doctor or a dermatologist because they know skin better than I do. You can also go to www.skinid.com/neutrogena and they'll give you a personalized skin care regimen.
Hope this helps!
No!!! :(
But what did work for me was these vitamins by ';greens'; its called perfect skin. it has fish oil and all the nutrients your skin needs to be healthy. so it doesnt just work on your face but like imporves your skin on your whole body.
I use spectro jel clenser. its AMAZING. i used to break out a lot but like maybe its a me getting older thing..or using the right routine thing.
spectro gel and perfect skin vitamins. neither are incredibly expensive.
When i do have a pimple i just put a dab of zinc on it over night. (baby diaper rrash cream)

Im using the clinique acne system and i was wondering if I could use like clearisil spot treatment to get faster results or am i headed for disaster? thanks'!When using clinique ance products can you use other things?
anonymous is right, you should never mix products. in every product of the clnique's acne solution line is specified to do not mix any other product to treat acne among with clinique treatment. be pacient! results can be seen very fast when you start using all the line. When using clinique ance products can you use other things?
no . you should never mix your products
I use Clinique's acne line. You shouldn't need to worry about incorporating other treatments in. Just be careful if your skin tends to be dry, that you're not over-treating your acne.

I use Clinique products, but sometimes me eyes itch and swell real badly, what could be the cause?
Clinique products are known for being hypoallergenic and 100% fragrance free, so I do not think that the make-up or make-up removers I'm using are causing my reactions. I also use Clinique's acne treatment regiment, but I do not apply the product to my eye area.I use Clinique products, but sometimes me eyes itch and swell real badly, what could be the cause?
';Hypoallergenic'; means ';having a decreased tendency to provoke an allergic reaction';. Hypoallergenic products can still cause allergic reactions. Even Clinique products. Although their products are less likely to cause allergic reactions, it can still happen.
Swelling and itching of your eyes indicates an allergic reaction. Although the reaction is relatively mild right now, any allergic reaction can suddenly become severe without warning, and you don't want this to happen to your eyes.
If you think it's something besides the Clinique, you may want to review what you're doing at least 2 hours before the swelling happened. Even something as simple as pet dander, laundry soap, dish soap, fabric softeners, and air fresheners can cause allergic reactions.I use Clinique products, but sometimes me eyes itch and swell real badly, what could be the cause?
maybe its time to get new makeup...like if your mascara is too old, bacteria can grow inside the tube (eww) lol

Which clinique foundation would work best for me?
I'm 16 %26amp; I have alot of redness on my face and more than a few pimples. But my face isnt COMPLETLY covrered with acne.SO I obviously need somthing with good coverage and still natural looking. thanks!Which clinique foundation would work best for me?
if you to the clinique counter they will match you with the exact foundation for your needs. all their stuff is very natural looking so they're a good choice.Which clinique foundation would work best for me?
Definitely something oil-free. Clinique is a good choice for acne -prone skin because all of its products are fragrance free and don't contain irritating things that clog pores. That said, stay away from any foundation that says ';moisturizing';. The best bet for you would probably be ';Superbalanced'; makeup. It is a medium-coverage foundation that goes on smooth and doesn't look fake. Good luck!

I don't have so many spots. They are just a few but they are very stubborn. Right now i am using proactive. As some spots are going more keep coming and i don't know what to do. I have tried all the remedies like putting my face over hot water, applying honey and oats. i have used tea tree oil, but nothing seems to work. i really need your help!!!Is clinique good for oily skin? if not can u pls recommend something for my spots?
Clinique is great for oily skin!
I always thought I had normal to dry, but its actually oily. After using it just once a day for the longest time, I started to use the three step religioulsy for Type III skin. It is awesome! My pores are smaller and I am not oily at all. The best part is the Dramatically Different comes in Gel for oily skin--all the benefits of the lotion without any oil in it..
I would highly recommend the Total Turnaround Concentrate--and I only have to use that at night.
I also recommend a makeup change to Bare Minerals--at least the Mineral Veil. I use that under my foundation and it helps with oily skin and pores.
Clinique also makes this great blemish serum from their acne line. You just put a tiny bit on a pimple and it goes away quickly.
Hope this helps!
PS: Yes, Clinique is more expensive than drugstore brands; however, if you compare to others like Lancome or Estee Lauder, it is cheaper. If you go to QVC.com, you can even get Clinique for less, and they have a supersize three-step! Great deal!Is clinique good for oily skin? if not can u pls recommend something for my spots?
OBAGI- its pricey, but worth it.

Are you required to have any job-specific qualification if you want to work on a beauty counter like Clinique?
I love playing and experimenting with make up and before getting married I went for a free consultation. I loved being pampered then and would love to that for other people. To work for a make up counter such as clinique, no 7 or benefit do you need to have any qualifications in make up artistry of any kind? The websites don't seem to say one way or the other! Are you required to have any job-specific qualification if you want to work on a beauty counter like Clinique?
No, it isn't required or necessary that you need to have a background in makeup or cosmetology . I know this because I am a Clinique Consultant. When hired they send you to classes for a couple of weeks, after you pass it's then on a quartly basis. There's certain tests that you pass to get your ';clinique pins';, etc. Now it IS beneficial if you know a little about makeup, and skin care. Even if you don't, it isn't necessary. They teach you all that in the classes. I knew nothing walking into it, and I've been there for 10 years now.Are you required to have any job-specific qualification if you want to work on a beauty counter like Clinique?
hi there! you do not need to be a licensed cosmetologist to become a beauty consultant in a make up counter. The cosmetics company provide extensive training to their employees to become efficient, if not professional, make up artists. like for example MAC, when they hire someone to become one for their beauty consultants, they provide hands on training for them and provide books or manuals that they can use as well.
it wouldn't hurt to ask a beauty consultant in regards to this. i'm sure they will be more than happy to give you any information about application and all that other fun stuff! :)
good luck!
well i think u have to be a graduated cosmetoligist, be able to figure what would look good on people
and a freindly people person
i love that kinda stuff too ^-^

How do i use the Clinique exfoliating lotion?
i applied it with a cotten ball but is that right? I'm skin type 1.How do i use the Clinique exfoliating lotion?
I put a cotton ball over the top of the bottle and tip the bottle over it a couple of times to get the cotton ball wet. I then apply the cotton ball, always moving it upward, and avoid putting it underneath your eyes. I also use some on my neck but I use a fresh cotton ball for that so you don't get dirt or bacteria back into the bottle. I hope that helps, I love using that stuff too!How do i use the Clinique exfoliating lotion?
Yes. Just apply it with a cotton ball. And use a separate cotton ball for each side of the face, as well as the neck.
I'm skin type 2, but I don't think it makes a difference. That's what I do and I think that's what it says on bottle.

I have fallen in love with the Clinique moisture surge moisturizer, but it's $35 for a 1.7oz. container. I can't afford that. I love the smell of Clinique's Aromatics Elixir, but need an alternative that smells similar?
I absolutely love Clinique's Aromatics Elixir, but it is a family member's signature fragrance. I don't see her all that often, but we all recognize her scent. I am looking for something that smells as similar as possible, with the emphasis on patchouli (am mostly drawn to chypres). Any suggestions?I love the smell of Clinique's Aromatics Elixir, but need an alternative that smells similar?

Whats the best kind of Clinique foundation for me?
I have anolive skin tone. I dont have acne. And I some light color freckles around my eyes, kinda like a raccoon does but with freckles.Whats the best kind of Clinique foundation for me?
Go to the clinique counter and ask someone there to help you match your skin tone to the foundation. That's what those ladies are there for!Whats the best kind of Clinique foundation for me?
Go to clinique and ask one of the girls to help you. They'll know which is best for your skin and offer the correct tone. They'll even show you HOW to put on make-up. The best part is that's it's free. Just be sure to buy something from them because it's rude to have them help you if you don't buy anything.
The first time in my life I have broken down and bought a department store brand makeup and I couldn't be happier. I finally get what everyone is talking about when they say department store brands are better the drug store brands. The diffrence is amazing! I just recently started using MAC Studio Fix foundation. It is about $25 a bottle, but I find I don't go through it as fast. A little goes a long way where as when I was using drug store brands I had to use alot more to get the coverage I want and need to blend and cover all my imperfections. Plus it seems to control oil much better when I use it with the blot powder. I only have to touch up 2-3 times instead of 5-6. Good luck!
i used to recommend clinique foundation. but i switched to a mineral powder from l'oreal. i think it's called bare minerals. it works really nicely, is good for the skin, and it looks like you have no makeup on.
And you'll get some free samples!
If your skin in combination/oily I suggest you get a foundation powder. If it is normal then get something that fits you best. If it is dry then get a liquid foundation. For around the eyes Clinique also do a liquid eye brightener, you could also get it from Yves Saint Lauren. Check in a counter at a department store, they'll also give you help.
If you do not find you're color in Clinique I suggest you go to a M.A.C store. Their products are excellent.
Good Luck
I use Superbalanced Foundation. I really like it. Its supposed to be for combination skin but I like how it is very silky and moisturizing and provides good cover.
Good luck!

What do you think about Clinique Clarifying Make up?
Does it work as well as it says? Does it controll oil the way it says. I know the foundation comes in a tube and one in a powder form, Which one is better? What do you think about Clinique Clarifying Make up?
I have only used the powder. It doesn't provide very much coverage but it does control oil and kept my face matte. I liked that it didn't contain any fragrance and didn't make my acne worse. The drawback would be there aren't very many color choices. What do you think about Clinique Clarifying Make up?

Do you need cosmetic experience to get a job with Clinique?
I've seen that Clinique are advertising for consultants, and that the initial stage is a 10 min telephone interview, on the background of the company and products. Does anyone know if you need to have actual cosmetic experience? And also what kind of questions they ask at this stage?Do you need cosmetic experience to get a job with Clinique?
I am a Clinique Rep. The initial phone interview basically asks you about drug use, theft, etc. They also do a quick personality test over the phone, asking some crazy questions. If you progress to the personal interview your poise and appearance are very important. I was a flight attendant, but always had an interest in the cosmetic industry, so I'd read up on many of their newer products and could converse easily about their benefits. If you are hired, you'll go through plenty of Clinique classes and get tons of freebies. That's the really fun part - lots of free makeup! Every couple of months we receive what's called ';gratis'; and we're given a $200 shopping spree at Clinique. We also receive stuff via mail every month, seasonal promotions, gifts, new products to try - it's fun. At Christmas Clinique gifted each associate with a sterling and diamond ring from Links of London. Not bad! You will be expected to work HARD. There's a lot of research and reading involved. You must also meet daily sales goals as well as doing at least two community visits during the year. That can be anything from doing makeup for a fund raiser fashion show to visiting offices with samples and literature. Working at the counter means keeping up with inventory, ordering, customer records, etc. You'll be tested constantly to see if you are knowledgeable about products and if you are performing makeovers and consultations up to Clinique's standards. They even have rules about how you hold a brush! My favorite part of the job is doing makeup for brides - that's always fun. If you work in a department store you will receive a commission on top of your hourly wage, you can really pad your check if you sell well. Give it a try, you just might love it!Do you need cosmetic experience to get a job with Clinique?
You may not need need actual sales experience though it will probably be preferred. They will most likely ask you questions regarding clinique products as you will need to know their product line inside and out in order to be a consultant. Think questions a potential customer may ask such as recommending a makeup/moisterizer/facial cleanser that is good for their complexion or needs. They will probably want to know more about yourself and why you are interested in the job, and what kind of experience you made have had before you are interviewed in person.
hope this helps
Not usually, They like to see customer service and retail experience.
its mainly selling.
It helps but no. They will fully train you and it is super fun too.

I am not sure if it is Clinique Happy or something like that, but I am so sure it smells like the Hollister perfume. Did anyone ever notice?Doesn't the new Clinique perfume smell exactly like one of the Hollister perfumes?
Yea they smell very similar.
I have both of them, but the clinique one has a little different scent.Doesn't the new Clinique perfume smell exactly like one of the Hollister perfumes?
I don't think there is a new clinique perfume... Happy has been out for more than 10 years now... So the other brand you mentioned might have some of the same notes as Happy perfume. Alot of citrus and floral based scents can smell the same.
Heh, I'm not sure but to me a lot of perfumes smell the same or very similar.

They usually wear black dress pants and a black shirt, and then they are given a white jacket thing to wear over it.What do the ladies that work for Clinique wear?

Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?
I'm 16 and want a decent cleansing routine, i've heard clinique is good but bad for younger people, is this true?Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?
I've been using Clinique since I was 15. It's not about your age; just make sure it is what your skin needs. Is the Clinique 3 step system bad for younger people?
The problem with the clinique three step routine is that neither the routine nor the products in the routine have changed much since they were introduced nearly 30 years ago. Skin care science has made giant leaps and bounds in understanding how healthy skin functions and what works and doesn't work when maintaining healthy skin. The old three step program includes a drying tallow based bar soap, an irritating astringent/toner and a moisturizer that doesn't contain any modern antioxidants, cell communicating ingredients, or skin identicals, or a sunscreen. The good news is that clinique's newer products -including cleansers for younger skin and modern serums and moisturizers -are excellent, just leave the old three step program at the counter.
By the way, there are lots of excellent cleansers and moisturizers at the drug store. Price doesn't always reflect quality in cosmetics and skin care. In consumer tests Olay and Neutrogena often beat out department store lines that cost ten times as much.
At the best of times skin care is confusing. You might want to do a web search for consumer reviews of different cosmetic and skin products. Yahoo has the Shine lifestyle website which has lots of honest reviews on almost everything that's out there. It's worth checking out for the beauty reviews: http://shine.yahoo.com/
I have never heard of Clinique being bad just very expensive. You can buy just as good skin cleansers from your drug store where your not paying for the name.

Can you go to the chanel or clinique makeup counter to get formal makeup done?
I remember my ex-stepsister took me with her when she was getting her makeup done for a formal at the Clinique counter or something. We've lost touch, but can you still do that, like with MAC or Chanel? Can you pay them to do your makeup for you for prom, like I would like to do?Can you go to the chanel or clinique makeup counter to get formal makeup done?
You have to call and make an appointment most of the time. But yes they still do that. It has never cost me anything but every store is different so when you call ask.Can you go to the chanel or clinique makeup counter to get formal makeup done?
I believe you can. I know Clinique does it. I'm sure most of the other make-up lines do also. Next time your in the store, stop by and ask as you would most likely need appt. Otherwise they do people as they stop by and you wouldn't want to wait if you have an affair to attend.
go to mac....
u might have to pay tho....
but.... they are REALLLLLLLY GOOOOODDD :]

Is Clinique good for people with sensitive and dry skin?
also are there brushes of good quality...if not recommendations are good.Is Clinique good for people with sensitive and dry skin?
yes clinique is probably one of the best! they have all different lotions and face washes particular for your skin type. Mac or bobbi brown has the best brushes. Is Clinique good for people with sensitive and dry skin?
Hi I have really sensitive eyes they literally go bright red! especially when im wearing eye makeup but clinique doesnt set them off at all, i have eyeliner, eyeshadow etc and my eyes dont react to it. I would definatly recommend it. I havnt used there brushes though.
I liked Clinique stuff because I have those problems, but found that their make-up felt so heavy. Lately I've been using Aloette (www.aloette.com) and it's all natural (which is great for sensitive and dry skin), but it also feels super light.
I use Clinique and i LOVE it, if you go to a clinique makeup artist at the mall they will help you pick out makeup that is sutable for your skin....its a bit pricey but its totally worth it!
Yes, Clinique products are great for sensitive skin. I have purchased these products for all of my kids thru the years and they have beautiful skin.

How to know if my clinique anti-ageing cream has been expired?
It has been written at the back that its a 100% fragrance free cream? How to know if it can be used! How to know if my clinique anti-ageing cream has been expired?
u can use it for 2 years from the date of manufactureHow to know if my clinique anti-ageing cream has been expired?
If there is no date printed underneath or on the lid, i'd take it into house of frazer or debenhams and ask the representative, they're boud to know. how long have you had it? Over 3 or more years and i'd probably bin it myself.
I think most creams are OK if used within 18-24 months of purchase. (However, as yours is anti-ageing it might last a little longer - joke) Nowadays, most cosmetics have a little symbol on the packaging stating the number of months they will be good for.

What is the closest makeup I can find to Clinique's discontinued concealer?
...it was in the small plastic triangle tube and it was amaazing. But, sadly, it was discontinued for some reason. What is the closest makeup I can find to Clinique's discontinued concealer?
I actually worked at Clinique so I know which one you're talking about.
The reason it was phased out was because the All About Eyes concealer repleaced it. It may sound different but they have the exact same coverage and similar texture its just more advanced technology.
The nice thing is that the new concealer (when used in the eye area) actually has all the same benfits as the all about eyes eye cream. What is the closest makeup I can find to Clinique's discontinued concealer?

What happens if a 14 year old uses clinique age/wrinkle cream?
I got it as a gift from my grandma (weird I know). But I was wondering what will happen if I use it. Will it prevent wrinkles it the future? What happens if a 14 year old uses clinique age/wrinkle cream?
Usually a person your age tends to have oily skin so you would little or no need for a moisturizer at this time. However, the stuff does not last indefinitely so I would use it sparingly around the eye area, dabbing it on VERY gently. The stuff will help ward off wrinkles but no cream can totally avoid wrinkles. Diligent use of moisturizer will help keep your skin younger in the long run. Of course if your skin is drier than described, also use it on your cheeks - not the T zone (forehead, nose %26amp; chin) since they are most prone to blackouts. Although the gift may seem odd, your grandma was thinking of you and wanted to give you a good start on a good skin care regimen - it's never too early to start taking care of your skin! Also, make sure you use sunscreen - this helps ward off wrinkles and skin cancer. What happens if a 14 year old uses clinique age/wrinkle cream?
wow seems like your grandma doesnt know how old you are....seeing as you wont have wrinkles (or very few) it wont do anything to your skin except moisturize and only very few anti wrinkle creams actually work so it probably wont help your wrinkles in the future but im a cynic so i would say theres no harm in trying it out, you never know it might just work :) you could always get botox....just kidding
Creams don't prevent wrinkles. If they could, there would be no reason for botox. Wrinkle creams just moisturize your skin and make it look a bit plumper, temporarily minimizing the *look* of wrinkles.
So, if you have dry skin, then use the cream. It's not going to hurt your skin, but it's not going to prevent wrinkles either.
I'm not sure.. I don't think it will hurt anything
I think it will either make your skin more or less oily.. or like open or close your pores or something. Depends on how your skin is now how it will work on you. Try it out and see what happens
You will get horrible acne and your face will then explode. I'm just kidding, nothing most likely. Wrinkle cream is just for filling in the lines so if you don't have any, you have nothing to fill.
actually it won't do much. For people with wrinkles, it just fills them in to create a smoother look. Thus for you, it will do little (unless of course, you are indeed wrinkly)
yeah sorry i don't know,
but that's the funniest thing i've heard all day.
...
umm yes i'd like to know also ( :
Probably nothing as no one wrinkles at 14...
don't know...
it might..
you can try it outt
or just give it to your mom..

Has anyone tried Clinique Acne Solutions and had good lasting results?
I have medium/light acne all over I guess. I want to get rid of it ASAP will clinique acne solutions get rid of all of it and keep it away? I know I'll still have to occasional pimple but yeah.Has anyone tried Clinique Acne Solutions and had good lasting results?
The proprietary stuff will not clear up real acne, only the occasional spot and pimple. To clear real acne, with large areas of spots and pustules you will need to see a skin specialist who will prescribe something like ro-accutane. This will get rid of it for good. If you use the over the counter stuff you will just be keeping the companies that make them in business!Has anyone tried Clinique Acne Solutions and had good lasting results?
Heres a hint if you ever have a chest infection or something like that and need antibiotics go to the doctor it will help clear up the acne.
Try panoxyl cream it is a benzol peroxide cream it really works!
If you have regular face steams (hot water in a bowl with towel over your head for 2 mins) then splash on cold water it will help close up pores as well.
yep, i use the soap bar, the liquid thingie and the lotion every day and they work quite well. :D
clean %26amp; clear is awesome too, but they don't sell it here. :\
good luck :]
x apple.
Ur best bet,m without wasting anymore time or money would be to go to ur doc! He can presribe something that is just right for you!!!
What works on some, may not work at all on others! Why do you think there are so many products available?
Get a presription! Its not that much with med unsurance and its worth it!
i use clinique almost makeup and powder- it works great- covers minior flaws and doesn't clog my pores. Its not thick just a tinted moisturizer with a powder to hold it in place and i use their concealer when i have dark undereye circles or blemishes. In terms of skin care im sure clinique works well. But in the same effect i use clean and clear products sold at walmart and target. As long as your doing the same steps i think you'll get similar results. Cleanse, exfoliate, use toner, and moisturize and your skin should be clear with any decent products. Also i buy a little tube for the ocassional breakout of benzyne or whatever it is. If that doesn't work prescription strength is probably necessary- see your dermatologist.

How do I get rid of blackheads? I wash my face twice a day with Clinique, use a moisturizer. Thourgholy cleans
I wash my face twice a day with Clinique, use a moisturizer. Thourgholy cleanse my face like once a week. I use pore refiner masks, microdermabrasion cleaner from clinique, heated blackhead control from Bjore, and my pores are still very large and my skin tone is horrible. How can I get a flawless complexion? How do I get rid of blackheads? I wash my face twice a day with Clinique, use a moisturizer. Thourgholy cleans
Hi Mia, I have suffered from terrible acne in my teenage years, and now I got rid of it completely. Here are a few things I found out on acne / blackheads / pimples, etc:
- Less Is More: I know how bad you feel when you see those blackheads, and how tempting it is to take direct action against them (applying all the products known to mankind, scrubbing, popping them, face masks, creams, washing one more time, etc.)
And actually you cannot do anything worst ! Your skin is very sensitive, and most of these treatments are very aggressive. If you have a tendency to have large pores and irritate your skin some more, the immediate result will be even more blackheads the next morning.
- Keep it Clean and Don't Touch: just gently rinse your face with soap and warm water once in the morning and once before bedtime... And nothing else. Especially forbid yourself to pop the blackheads too often and/or touch your face with your hands, no better way to insert more bacteria in your pores.
- Keep the Cosmetics Away: The aim is to let your skin breathe, so make up, creams, etc are a no no, this is like pouring concrete in your pores; just like ';no shaving'; for guys with acne, the less aggression the better.
- Be patient, be patient, be patient: your skin tone will improve slowly over 2 to 6 months, there is no ';silver bullet'; that will allow you to wake up tomorrow with that perfect skin. Everything you will do in that sense (microdermabrasion, ';miracle'; creams, etc) will only give you temporary results, but eventually will set you back in achieving your goal.
Finally, if you want to safely remove the blackheads that are ready to pop, wash thoroughly your hands and the area around the blackhead, and then softly apply pressure with the soft part of your fingers (never with you nails, you will scar yourself) and let it slide out gently. Then rinse and dry your face.
I hope this helps. How do I get rid of blackheads? I wash my face twice a day with Clinique, use a moisturizer. Thourgholy cleans

Good luck....and don't work too hard to conceal the condition, you may be making it worse with cover up materials.

Have anyone tried Clinique acne products and is it good for dark skin complexion?
I have acne and I am looking for a skiincare product. Do clinique skincare products work and how long does it usually takes to work?Have anyone tried Clinique acne products and is it good for dark skin complexion?
yes, ive used it for about a year. It's good for all skin complexions, (my friend who introduced me to it had darker skin.) I used to have really bad acne and I tried proactiv and everything else that you could think of, but this was the only thing that worked for my skin it was really clear in about a week or two....and now it's always clear! :)Have anyone tried Clinique acne products and is it good for dark skin complexion?
Yes it works really good. I have used some of the acne products and they seem to start to work within a day. You will probably go through some dryness, but will go away. Skin color doesn't matter, it works on all-and no it won't ';bleach'; your skin. There ';3 step'; system works great I use it and get lots of compliments on my skin. They have BONUS sometimes- you get free stuff when you buy a certain amount, so I stock up then and get to try free products and get a cute makeup bag too!!!
I used Clinique for 7 years and I loved it!! I still use the clarifying lotion everyday and use the Mary Kay soap and moisterizer instead of the Clinique soap and moisterizer now-I am just trying to keep my skin looking younger as I get into my mid 20s and Mary Kay has an anti aging formula...but if you are younger, or are not concerned about wrinkles or lines, then Clinque is the best!

Can I use Clinique Acne Solution bar for body and face all over my body?
I only have mild acne on my back and a little on my chest so should I use it like a regular soap? Can I use Clinique Acne Solution bar for body and face all over my body?
There is indeed a 100% miracle cure for acne that is cheaper than you could ever imagine!!! It's only 3 bucks for 3 bars of soap! And I swear to God almighty it will work for you no matter what skin type you have!
I've used every acne product there is, including proactive which did an OK job, but I always still had at least one pimple at all times. Then I ran out, and I just used my Irish Spring (with aloe) bar soap on my face, and it works 100% of the time. People say it must be the aloe in the soap that does the magic, but I think all those other complex chemicals do a good job of cleaning the skin also.
As long as I wash my face really good with Irish Spring every 12 hours, my skin stays perfectly clear. And I can use whatever shaving cream I want, and whatever lotion on my face, and I never get breakouts, except lotion with shea butter or coco-butter (Wash your face in the shower with Irish Spring *before* you shave).
The only other thing that makes me break out is Nestle Semi-sweet chocolate chips in cookies. So I never eat any nestle chocolate anymore, just hershey's.
I guarantee if you use Irish Spring bar soap (the new one with *aloe*) you will never get another pimple for the rest of your life! It's awesome! I wish I would have known about it back in highschool so I never would have had pimples in the first place, but they didn't have aloe in Irish Spring back then.
And I use to get acne constantly on my back when I used coca-butter Tone bar soap. But now with Irish Spring, no pimples anywhere, just nice smooth skin. And the ingredients of Irish Spring are a lot of crazy industrial chemicals, but they do the trick! Better than any organic soap I've tried for acne. I promise you, after trying Irish Spring with aloe, you will thank God I told you about it!Can I use Clinique Acne Solution bar for body and face all over my body?
Can't see any problem with thathair styling

How long does it take for my skin to clear up if i'm using Clinique?
I'm using Clinique 3 Step for Oily Skin. I like it and all, I just want to know how long it takes for my skin to completely clear up. If you haven't used it, don't give me false information otherwise it'll kind of confuse me. Thanks and peace. How long does it take for my skin to clear up if i'm using Clinique?
great choice it works great! I have used it and this is what i experienced, maybe different for you. The first week i used it, i broke out because it was a new product and my skin didn't know how to react with it. the next week my skin began to clear up slowly, that took about 3 weeks, and then it started to smooth out! But don't stop using it (thats what i did) and then my face went crazy! hahaHow long does it take for my skin to clear up if i'm using Clinique?
clinique usually takes about two to four weeks to clear up/improve your skin. Depending on your skin's condition it can vary to up to six weeks.
i took me about a week to get noticable results, but everyone's skin is different. If you keep using it everyday, you will eventually see results and your skin will stay feeling great, until you stop using the product.

Does physicians formula work good? If so does it work better then Clinique?
I would like to know because, my friend uses it and, I would like to try it.It looks really good on her. If it does work good please tell me if it lasts all day and if the colors are true and does not make your face look orange. Clinique products don't stay on all day , so I want to try something new.Does physicians formula work good? If so does it work better then Clinique?
it is wonderful i use their eyeshadows!Does physicians formula work good? If so does it work better then Clinique?
well I've never tried clinique but I do use physicians formula's Mineral wear powder and I would have to say that I'd find it hard to believe that there's a better powder out there. Its the only product from physicians formula I've tried though, since its kind of expensive but it's also half the price of clinique so I'd say that if you need powder foundation it would be a waste to buy anything else.
I use Physicians Formula and I love it. Its great because it is organic and it doesn't test on animals. I use their Organic Powder and their Mascara.
:D

What experience have people had with the Clinique three step system?
I was looking to try it but I was just wondering whether anyone has had any bad experiences with it.
Please share :)
Thank you. What experience have people had with the Clinique three step system?
heh, talk about bad experience..
for me i love the dramatically different hydrating gel.
i just wish it had a spf in it and it would be the ultimate moisturizer.
for the facial cleanser it's pretty gentle and basic.
or if your trying the bar of soap, don't. =p it's way too harsh, not mild at all.
but the ultimate thing, that i cannot stand %26amp; saved for last, the clarifying lotion (toner), way way too harsh. i got chemical burns on my face. and it sucked out the moisture from my oily skin. use it on dry skin, well....good luck to them.=o
i would never recommend this to anyone, but some people love it, but some people even not with sensitive skin, claim it to be very strong. What experience have people had with the Clinique three step system?
i use it now and it is really good.
definitely worth the money and has been the best skin care system i have used so far

Does the clinique liquid facewash work good?
hi i just got the clinique liquid facewash and i was wondering if it worked good. By it working good, i mean like getting rid of breakouts and stuff. Also what else is facewash supposed to do for your skin?
thanks guys.Does the clinique liquid facewash work good?
facewash should clean ur skin, get rid of dead skin cells, keep out breakouts, heal pimples, and just make your skin clear and cute
clinique facewash is good. but their makeup is better.
however, most face washes use the same ingredients so u shouldnt have to shell out a lot cashola for ur face wash. (which is why i live by clean and clear)Does the clinique liquid facewash work good?
i have tried all the expensive products includin clinique and personally the best and inexpensive facewash is garnier fresh in a green tube. And it clears make up amazingly Report Abuse
I don't know about this particular product, but I've been using Clinique products for over 25 years. Everything I've tried, from cleansers, to toners to makeup is excellent.
Cetaphil is a very gentle cleanser if you don't like the Clinique one.
It works OK. But I find it too harsh. My favorite is Bee Luscious. You can watch a review on it (that is how I found out about it) by all that glitters 21.

Are you supposed to wash of the clinique exfoliator after you put it on?
I bought the Clinique 3-step kit and I'm not sure if you are supposed to wash of the 2nd step ( exfoliator ) after you put it on with a cotton ball.
i got little bumps on my face after i started using it and this might be the reason...help!
plz and thanks! Are you supposed to wash of the clinique exfoliator after you put it on?
I use Clinique as well and you're not supposed to wash the exfoliator/toner off. Just put a light layer on your face with a cotton ball after washing and when it dries apply the moisturizer. The toner will make your skin feel a little tight but after you moisturize, it will feel normal again. Clinique has been great for me; hope this helps!
Also, if you ever have any questions about Clinique products, you can always email one of their online consultants from the website. They responded quickly for me once. Are you supposed to wash of the clinique exfoliator after you put it on?

no you don't wash it off, it sounds to me like the one you're using is too strong for your face, return it for a different one

yes, you need to wash off any exfoliator. it doesn't stay on.
What can I use to ease my sweating, when the ';dermotologist'; deoderants like dove clinique don't work?
I have used Dove, another one I can't remember, but they seem to make me sweat just the same as with any other deodorant. What can I use to ease my sweating, when the ';dermotologist'; deoderants like dove clinique don't work?
I used dove clinical strength for the longest time, it never worked too good. I later found an article thar the aluminum in non organic or regular brand deoderants can cause breast cancer. I immediatly switched to a organic all natural deoderant I bought at pcc. I'm sure you can find a all natural deoderant at any store that sells specialty organic food or items. Just telling you, aluminum can kill you and the storebought well known name brand deoderants clog your pores and cause you to sweat more. Search up on it.What can I use to ease my sweating, when the ';dermotologist'; deoderants like dove clinique don't work?
Hello
Excessive sweating is a common problem that more than 3% of the population faced with. It is not only a cause of embarrassment for the individual, this condition can also create many problems with someone's lifestyle as well.
Anyhow there are some specific methods that can help you to stop your excessive sweating.
here are some tips that were helpful for me to avoid hyperhidrosis:
Avoid Sugar
having high sugar level in your blood produces hyper activity and anxiety that can easily produce excessive stress, and as a result excessive sweating.
Avoid Alcohol
Drinking drinks with Alcohol causes the dilatation of blood vessels that result in an increase in body temperature and therefore excessive sweat.
Avoid Spicy Food:
Spicy foods have the same effects as alcohol, it makes the heart pumps more blood and therefore the body, to regulate itself produces sweat.
Choose The Right Cloths:
Don't over dress, and in summer or any other hot weather don't wear synthetic fibers. Choose breathing fabrics like cotton. This will ventilate your body and void any accumulation of sweat.
Avoid Caffeine:
Caffeine is a stimulant that increases your anxiety. Caffeine could be found in coffee and other soda drinks.
Don't Smoke:
Smoking is also a vessel dilator just like alcohol.
Learn Yoga or Meditation:
A common cause for excessive sweating is stress. To avoid or reduce stress you should learn to control it. The best way to control is by learning meditation or yoga techniques. Mastering those can make a huge difference on your life.
Besides these tips there are also many products and solutions for excessive sweating like botox, Acupuncture and Hypnosis.
Anyhow, there are two main problems with these solutions:
*Many of them won't work for most of the people.
*Most of them are very expensive.
There are very few hyperhidrosis solutions that actually work and can help you to stop or at least reduce your excessive sweating problems in a matter of weeks.

Good luck, you can do it!.
Certain dry can be found in grocery stores or pharmacies and it is applied nightly and makes it so you don't sweat under your armpits. I think of sears your pores shut so you can't sweat. It is painful the first few times but it works really well. It's in a white box.
';Deodorants'; are not meant to stop sweating, they are meant to stop bad smell. If it does not say ';antiperspirant'; on it, it isn't meant to stop you from perspiring. Some say both, others just say one or the other. Read the label!
i have a big sweating prob too haha.i use secret platnium gel! don't use stick!
you need to get the medical deodorant stuff. but i hear that it stings lol

What are the instructions to applying Clinique self-sun body daily moisturizer?
I recently bought this product, and on the bottle it says 'proper application is simple, but important. read enclosure'. However, there was no enclosure in my box, and I want to be sure to apply it correctly, and not end up orange. Does anyone have this and have the enclosure or know the proper steps to application? Thank you! What are the instructions to applying Clinique self-sun body daily moisturizer?

What do you girls think of clinique foundation?
Im about to use this cream foundation from clinique and before i use it i wanted to see what everyones experiences have been like? What do you girls think of clinique foundation?
I have skin allergies and Clinique is one of the few foundations I can use, the other is Stila. What do you girls think of clinique foundation?
i used to always use clinique.. but it does clog pores.. now i use bare minerals and i love it! it always covers everything, goes on evenly, never any blending lines, and its ';so pure you can even sleep in it';.(which is true, i never break out). if youre going to spend all the money on clinique products, the starter kit from bare minerals is so much more worth it.. it comes with 2 foundations (you pick your skin tone and you can you either or, both, or blend), a warmth to add definition, and mineral veil, which is clear and great for oily days.. you also get the brushes, and its sooo totally worth it!
I use clinique and i absolutely love it! i am fair skinned and constantly swim- this makeup is spf protected and stays on but is easy to take off! i cannot say enough good things about them! i adore the makeup and their mascara is amazing!!
Luv it!!
it's nice and light!
goes on sooo easily!
try it, u won't regret it :)

How much do you spend on expensive makeup like chanel, dior mac clinique a month?
Is it hundreds and how do you get through all of it in a month? How much do you spend on expensive makeup like chanel, dior mac clinique a month?
perhaps $100
janeHow much do you spend on expensive makeup like chanel, dior mac clinique a month?
In terms of foundation, I buy Chanel at $45.00 an ounce and it lasts me at least 4 months...so that works out to about $11.00 a month....not bad at all, I think. The eyeshadows last forever, I haven't had to replace one yet. The cost per wear is excellent for the quality that you get in my opinion.
I don't waste my money on that crap. I buy Maybelline and CoverGirl, which looks just fine. So I maybe spend less than 25 a month, because I dont hoard makeup, I only buy it when I run out or want to try something new.
i use Mac and i just get however much i want
(:

What do you think about Clinique skincareline and makeup?
I just started using it. Ive tried lots of things including Bareminerals, dermalogica, and other things, but I just started Clinique and I like it pretty well. it does irritate my contacts a lot, though (the foundation and concealer, I mean. they get in my eyes a lot.) what do you all think of Clinique? What do you think about Clinique skincareline and makeup?
Yeh, I like Clinique. I use their cleanser, toner and moisturiser... I also use their foundation, which works really well and doesn't seem to bring you out in any more spots either.
I've got combination skin and it seems to have balanced that out really well, and I think it's helped my spots a bit as well.
It's definitely the first brand that I've been almost 100% satisfied with, and like you, I've been through Dermalogica and all the other brands too! All I need now is for perfect skin.. but I guess that's not going to happen!!
Good luck with your Clinique stuff - it's really good if you keep with it!What do you think about Clinique skincareline and makeup?
i like clinique a lot, but ive heard that their foundation is not so great. ive heard that perscriptives is better for foundation, and both companies are made by estee lauder so both are cruelty-free, if youre concerned about that. but other than the foundation, i really like their products (esp. the skincare line)
I love the 3 step face line, it clears my skin with insane results, it is less dull and my skin is SO smooth. I actually look forward to cleaning my face at night and in the morning. I love their lip glosses, they are very shiny and stay for literally hours(and moisturizing to boot), and their eyeshadow is fairly good, but they dont provide enough staying power for my greasy lids.
clinique is very good for your skin, it is made to not give you break outs and dosnt make your face oily. but naturally around your eyes throughout the day the make up tends to move around. dont put it so close to your eyes it shouldnt be that close anyway.
I love Clinique's skin care line. It leaves my skin feeling vibrant and fresh. I really love their fragrances, too. Especially Clinique Happy. My sister wears contacts, too, an she says the powder bugs her, but she likes the way it makes her skin look.
clinique is good for its skincare but worst for the make ups
its powder is good but if the foundation n concealer irritate you, stop using it .
but as far as i know clinique is great for sensitive skin
Clinique i think it's a great line im going, well im going to try thre ance line the soap and the yellow face lotion i have really dry skin and i use proactive and it dried my skin really bad i jsut asked aquestion about Clinique im under you
love it
my dad works for a chemical company that makes products for clinique so i get a lot of their stuff and i loved just about every product
i like it , the people @ the counter r nice and the products don't seam to oily.Hear r some that i like u might too**
Dermatologists say that Clinique is not good for young skin. It is meant for older women. It tends to make younger people break out. I am not sure what your age is, but that may be an issue for you.hair styling

How well do the Clinique acne products work?
they dont work that well becuz i used 2 use them and my acne never went away.
You should go 2 ur doctor and tell them tht you need an acne medication. THe best one tht i use is called Benzaclin i thnk.
It works so good its like magic. your face will be clear in about 4 days!
so much better than proactive!!!How well do the Clinique acne products work?
Everyone's skin is different, but their Acne Solutions line was a NIGHTMARE for me. I was really looking forward to trying it, having been a Clinique devotee, but it was so awful that it actually turned me off of their products almost entirely. My face was flaking all over, even worse than that of my friend who was on Accutane. It was painful and abrasive to use and my skin was red and raw. If you're looking for good acne products, I would recommend the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control for drugstore products and DHC Deep Cleansing Oil or the Acerola line for higher end products. Good luck honey! How well do the Clinique acne products work?
I used Clinique for a year and a little bit. I kept on experiencing breakouts but I thought it was normal. I would wake up in the morning and my skin would be really dry and red. I went to the doctor to see if I was allergic but I wasn`t. So I started asking people at my high School and most of them said that the same thing happened to them. So now I use a company called Beauty control and now my skin is amazing I would highly recommend using it!
Good luck!
They work well, but are expensive. I would suggest Neutrogena if you are looking for something cheaper that is just as effective. If money is not an issue, then yes, basically everything Clinique makes is fabulous!
I found that by using the Clinique 3 step products, that helped clear any breakouts on my face.
But Revitol have an acne spot gel at http://www.revitol.com/acne-spot-gel/?ai鈥?/a> which may be better suited for acne.
I find them to be a bit too drying. I like their facial moisturizers though they do not make me break out.
I have tried them and in my opinion it doesn't work. Now I use Proactive and it's the best I've used.

How do you apply clinique quickliner to fit your eyes?
my eyes are kind of round and then they go in towards my nose....i'm wondering how i should apply this kind of eyeliner and how close to my eyes should the line be?How do you apply clinique quickliner to fit your eyes?
I always start where my eyelashes start!
I find i never go to close then, start there and work back n take it as far out as u need to :)How do you apply clinique quickliner to fit your eyes?
if your eyes are close together then don't apply the liner in the inner corners of the eye, it'll make them look even closer together.
Apply the liner to the top lids only, along the lash line from the outer edge in. Don't go beyond where your lashes are. The line should make the dots of your lashes connect - use your own judgemntn of how thick you want the line to be, the thicker the line the stronger the look. Use a white pencil on the inside rim of your eyes to make them pop, dot a little in the inner corners of your eyes and blend so it's not obvious it just shows light and widens your eyes nicely.

The woman at the Clinique counter refused to put makeup on me?
I wanted to get one of those little makeovers that they have for free, but she wouldn't do it! So I had to buy my eye shadow without trying it on first! What if i look like crap now?The woman at the Clinique counter refused to put makeup on me?
Yeah that was wrong of her she shouldnt have turned you down just because you are a guy you have yours right just like anyone else you should go back and see if someone else is working or go somewhere else like sephoraThe woman at the Clinique counter refused to put makeup on me?
Return the eyeshadow. The only thing thas good about their make-up is the mascara (Its called high definition). They had this nearly lipstick thing that was great but they are discontinuing it :(
Um, hate to say it but she played you...they can pressure you but don't ever think you have to buy anything from them first...
I would have told her no thanks %26amp; went somewhere else
They are a snooty lot in Malls and bigger stores.
They do not realise they are mere sales girls.
I'd not have purchased that eyeshadow. You can fix an appointment with them too.
I was noticing that you are a guy?
Clinique isn't a very makeup oriented company. They started out with skincare, and that is still where their focus is. The clinique makeup isn't that great anyway.
Most people who work in makeup counters know NOTHING about makeup anyway. They usually aren't trained unless they are from (MAC, Benefit, Bobbi Brown) one of the makeup oriented companies. That is probably why she wouldn't put it on, because she really can't do makeup.
Yea, that is ridiculous. You should be able to sample anything they have on the counter. That is what it is there for.
Clinique sucks any ways, switch to benefits.
Take a minigun and blow the fucka's up :P

How long does clinique airbrush concealer stay on for?
how many hours a day does clinique airbrush concealer stay on for?
also how long - weeks, months - will clinique airbrush concealer last for if i use it daily? How long does clinique airbrush concealer stay on for?
Clinique is an incredible brand, and I have so many products from them! Specifically, their Tinted Moisturizer and Barely Makeup Foundations are my favorites.
Recently, I purchased the Airbrush Concealer and died. To this day, I have found no cons, just a long list of pros! It lasts anywhere from 3 months-6 months, and some can streth it out to a year (I wouldn't though, believe it or not, makeup DOES expire)
It smooths out dry, flakey areas and covers redness entirely. It doesn't fade until you remove it and it won't cause breakouts!

What's the difference between Mary Kay and Clinique?
I'm thinking of buying the all about eye cream, all about eye concelar, and the stay matte from Clinique for my eyes, but does Mary Kay have a similar product and also whats the difference between the two brands? What's the difference between Mary Kay and Clinique?
In my opinion, Mary Kay is overpriced. I used to use Clinique when I was younger, but their products starting making me breakout.
I have found a line that I absolutely LOVE now and that is mark. (Avon's daughter brand).
They have a new skincare line that has a great eye product. It's called Light Bright hook-up - lighten %26amp; depuff eye gel would be perfect for your concern. The ingredients include cucumber, kiwi %26amp; lotus flower which are all great at targeting that problem area. The reviews so far have been very good. And it is very affordable ($8).
As far as concealers go, I like Speedway ';Do Everything Makeup'; for covering up imperfections. It is a cream-to-powder stick foundation that is perfect to even skin tone. It will help you cover up some of what you don't like, but also leave a natural looking finish.
They also have Invisible Touch concealer ($5) that I've used. But the Speedway is great because it serves many purposes.

www.mymarkstore.com/dpupoWhat's the difference between Mary Kay and Clinique?
Clinique is actually for younger skin it was taught in one of my training the product line is for changing skin which tends to do well with people who have combination - oily skin. It does not apply to everyone but for the most part as you age your skin gets dryer.
Clinique is a good quality product so it is all about preference and what works best for you the nice thing about Mary Kay is it is something you can try before you buy with a 100% money back guarentee.
Actually...Mary Kay products are also fragrance free and the top selling brand for the last 14 years, NOT Clinique (please check your sources!).
We have a variety of eye products which target a variety of needs. Here is the link: http://www.marykay.com/Christine_M/skinc鈥?/a>
The most raved about is the Eye Revitalizer - for $35, you will target dark circles and puffiness.
To fight fine lines and wrinkles, try the Age Fighting Eye Cream. Also provides hydration.
The Firming Eye Cream, at $30, is a staple and used in the Ultimate Miracle Set. It is a do-it-all product.
What were your specific concerns?
Concealer...Mary Kay has a variety of products. Our Future National Sales Director actually recommends putting on concealer last; once you see how much coverage you can get with our foundations, you probably won't need it. Anyways, it comes in six shades - yellow included. If you're targeting your eye area, I would recommend the Facial Highlighting Pen (which comes in four shades). It has light reflecting pigment so not only will it cover your blemishes, it will reduce the appearance of puffiness or dark circles (but please consult me for application tips or you'll be highlighting your circles, not hiding them!)
As for the ';stay matte'; - Mary Kay JUST (within the last two months) released mineral based pressed powders. The compacts are brand new, too, and so sleek and classy. Personally, I recommend the mineral powder. I LOVE it. It layers so nicely so you don't have to have full coverage - it can be as sheer as you like. It's so light and doesn't leave stains on the sink or counter top either! Haha. You can get it for a fraction of the price of any other mineral powder.
I know this is a HUGE response but I'd love to talk to you more about the many Mary Kay options. I am currently a Team Leader, which puts me one step away from directorship. I never wore anything but mascara before joining Mary Kay and didn't know the first thing about skin care. Would you believe I was a Clinique customer? MK prices are definitely reasonable, and look at the service you've got from a complete stranger. ;o) Did your Clinique consultant offer you that? Last little plug...if you join the company, you can immediately get your products at 50% off. Now who has the better prices??
Best wishes with whatever you choose! Please don't hesitate to contact me.
i use all about eyes it works great it gets rid of dark circles and puffiness also the concelar is great and stay matte pressed powder is the best...................i have never used mary kay but what i do know is that clinique is 100% fragrance free and dermatologist developed.....i do know its the number one selling in skin care 3 step system is the best.......
In my opinion, Mary Kay is overpriced. I used to use Clinique when I was younger, but their products starting making me breakout.
I have found a line that I absolutely LOVE now and that is mark. (Avon's daughter brand).
